Step 1
Prepare to disassemble your Steering wheel by disconnecting the negative battery terminal with a 13mm box wrench; now wait 30 minutes.
Step 2
Find the 2 holes holding on the airbag [one on each side]. Loosen them using a T30 star allen wrench [They won't come all the way out]. Flip the turn signal up to reach it easier.
Step 3
Pull the airbag forward and disconnect the Airbag and horn connectors.
Step 4
Lock the Wheel by turning it left. Remove the bolt holding the steering wheel on using a 5/8 or 16mm deep socket with a breaker bar/ long handled ratchet. Hold the wheel from moving with one hand and break the bolt with the other. This will take power, please go to the gym before performing this. Make sure to unlock the wheel and put it back to its original position before removing the bolt. Mark the placement of the wheel.
Step 5
Mark the Bearing with a screw driver or white out above the mark on the wheel so you can re-align your new wheel!
Step 6
Remove the Screw holding the steering column in using a Phillips head screw driver. the rest pops apart along the seam.
Step 7
Remove the white connector from the black clip. Turn the black clip with the orange connector in it to remove it. Detach the orange air bag connector and the white horn connector.
Step 8
Put on the new wheel and torque the center bolt to 46 Ft Lbs.
Step 9
Install the Airbag and screw in the two rear bolts.
Step 10
Enjoy a better looking, Ergonomic, Sporty Wheel.
