Step 1
Jack the car up, Put a Jack stand under it and put wheel Chocks on the front tires.
Step 2
Remove lug nuts. Either loosen them while they're on the ground and then fully remove them once they're off the ground or use an impact gun and remove them after off the ground. Leave one on, you will use this to keep the wheel from falling after you break the seal.
Step 3
Turn the Wheel to the side you're working on for easier access to the caliper bolts.
Step 4
Remove the retaining clip on the caliper by prying up on the inside. Remove the brake wear sensor with pliers.
Step 5
Loosen the caliper slide bolts with a 7mm hex wrench and then remove the 2 - 16mm bolts from the caliper bracket. Use a breaker bar or impact gun to break these bolts.
Step 6
Remove the nut holding the rotor to the hub using a 6mm hex wrench. Hit it with your hand to break it.
Step 7
Remove the caliper from the rotor and then remove the bracket from the caliper. these are 2 - 7mm slide pins. use zip ties to tie the caliper to your suspension somewhere so it doesn't ruin the brake hose.
Step 8
Tap on the rotor in the front and back to remove it.
Step 9
Install the new rotor and bolt to secure it. spin it by hand to make sure its seated correctly. Make sure you cleaned the anti corrosion coating off the new rotor using brake clean.
Step 10
Remove the old pads.
Part 11
Compress the Piston using a large C clamp.
Step 12
Apply Grease to the the new pad and caliper slide pins. Install the new pads, The one with the 3 prong bracket snaps into the caliper piston. Clean pad surface with brake clean after it is installed. If you can not fit the pads, remove the slide by removing the two slide pins.
Part 13
Reinstall caliper, put anti seize on the bolts you are installing. Install the Brake wear sensor. Clean everything with Brake clean. Reinstall wheel.
